GMO-Z.com Trust Company, Inc. (“GMO Trust”) reminds holders of GYEN and ZUSD that fewer than three months remain in the Initial Redemption Period.
The Initial Redemption Period closes on November 11, 2026. Redemption requests may be submitted until 11:59 p.m. Eastern Time on that date. After that time, GYEN and ZUSD will no longer be redeemable through the GMO Trust Platform.

Direct Redemption with GMO Trust is available to Account Holders at par value (1 GYEN = 1 JPY; 1 ZUSD = 1 USD), with no Redemption fees. Minimums of 100 GYEN and 1 ZUSD apply. GYEN Redemption proceeds are remitted in JPY; holders without a JPY-denominated account may register a non-JPY account as Bank Wire (JPY), with conversion performed by their receiving bank. Holders who do not hold an Account may apply for one for the purpose of Redeeming existing holdings, subject to KYC review — applicants should allow sufficient time before November 11.
- Secondary market. Routes to exchange GYEN or ZUSD for USDC on third-party venues are currently available for both tokens. A swap is not a Redemption and does not deliver par value.

Stablecoins not Redeemed before the close of the Initial Redemption Period will be subject to a mandatory redemption pursuant to Section 11 of the Stablecoin User Terms & Conditions. A separate notice setting out that process will be published during the Initial Redemption Period.
Access to the GMO Trust Platform will end following the close of the Initial Redemption Period. Account Holders wishing to retain records of their transaction history should download the activity report for their Account before that date.
GMO Trust will never ask you to connect a wallet, sign a transaction, or pay a fee in order to Redeem. Communications and materials relating to the wind-down are published on GMO Trust’s official communication channels: stablecoin.z.com, support.stablecoin.z.com, X, LinkedIn and Medium.
